BigBang May End The Year As YG Entertainment's Only Group Not To Promote In 2014

Big Bang

Two months are left in 2014 and BigBang is the only group currently under YG Entertainment that has yet to make a comeback.
BigBang hasn't made a comeback as a group since 2012 with the release of their Alive album. Instead, the group has focused on solo activities and concert tours.
For the past several months, there has been the expectation that Big Bang would release a new album following YG CEO Yang Hyun Suk's initial statement that an album would be released in August. However, the group never made a comeback and if Big Bang doesn't release music in the next two months, they will be the only one of YG Entertainment's five active idol groups not making a comeback in 2014.
On October 27, YG Entertainment once again asked "Who's Next?" implying that new music will be released on November 11. While there is a possibility that Big Bang will release something on that day, there is also the likelihood that the comeback could be from Psy or that one of YG Entertainment's new groups will release something.
Although Big Bang's Taeyang recently mentioned the group is working on something, he was unable to clarify when an album would be ready. It is likely that the year will end without an album from the five-member idol group, primarily due to their Japanese concert tour beginning on November 15 and injuries that Seungri obtained in a recent car accident.
It is unknown whether he will perform at Big Bang's Japanese concert tour that begins in the middle of November.
YG Entertainment is also scheduled to release two new idol groups: Pink Punk before the year is through and iKON to kickstart 2015.
