The "BEAST Unplugged Concert" was held at Melon Ax Hall in Seoul on July 27. BEAST opened the stage with "Lightless," singing "Midnight," "I'm Sorry," "The Fact," "Fiction," and "Dream Girl" live.
The idol group also sang six songs that fans requested and further thanked those who attended the concert with special gifts. 500 fans were selected to attend the band's recent solo concert from a pool of 10,000 fans that had sent in applications to get tickets.
BEAST took home 12 trophies with their single "Good Luck" while their sixth mini-album took the No. 1 spot on monthly music charts.
"Good Luck" was also featured on Billboard for its ability to blend different genres by "mixing high-electro beats with traditional classical music."
"Our music is actually a blend of many different styles. And this diversity also stands for the [genre called] K-pop. We can say that we basically focused on dance music and electronic music on our newest album. Most of our songs feature elements of R&B and dance music. But in short, despite all the various elements that make up our music, we can say what we make 'cheerful pop songs,'" stated the members of BEAST.
