Taeyang Discusses CL of 2NE1 Appearing on 'Rise'

 

Although many fans have already guessed this, Taeyang has officially confirmed the female vocalist on the track "Love You to Death" to be CL of 2NE1.

“There is a person that a lot of people are guessing, and it’s correct," said Taeyang on Tablo's radio program "Dreaming Radio".

According to YGLadies, the pitch was adjusted on the "Rise" album track so the vocalist wouldn't so easy to identify. In addition, the CL's lyrics were reportedly written by Tablo's wife, Kang Hyejung.

CL is also featured on "Body," another song from Taeyang's second solo album.

"It's a very fun and sexy track," said Taeyang. "This song went through a lot of editing before it was put on the album. If you hear it you'll understand, but it's got a heavy electronic and digital vibe to it yet the verses and bridge have an old-school disco sound, as well as Michael Jackson and Daft Punk-styled guitar riffs. I personally like the song and believe it's a lot of fun."
