The idol group revealed a teaser image on their official Twitter account. The members are seen wearing all white with mirrored masks in the mysterious picture.
The K-pop group reportedly plans to reveal a new concept with their first album, which is being released 2 years after their debut. As of 2014, all five members of the group are now of legal age, which prompted the launch of this "new and improved" theme the band is going for.
Despite perceptions that NU'EST didn't make a strong debut, the group had gone on to win various awards in Korea and internationally.
The group won the "Best Male Rookie" award for the Korean Updates Awards ceremony as well as the "Super Rookie Idol" award at the Arirang's Simply K-Pop Awards ceremony.
NU'EST won the "Top New Artist" award at the K-POP Lovers! Awards ceremony in 2012 and was nominated for the "Rookie of the Year-Male Group" award at the Soompi France Awards ceremony.
